About our database:

The poker pal database consists of ~500k custom postflop solutions for 8-max tournaments with big blind ante. This database is a 'starter kit' and will be optimized as the product develops. 

 

Postflop solutions are built to capture the majority of strategies without being overly complex. Three betsizes are used on each street (25,66,125). A 3x checkraise is used for single raised pots <17bb and for all 3b and 4b pots, while a 4x checkraise is used for single raised pots 17bb+. Standard assumptions for all-in thresholds and merged betsizes apply.

 

Postflop solutions are currently available for 12,15,18,20,22,25,30,40,50, and 75bb. Any query with a different stacksize is rounded unless too far out of range to be reliable.

Preflop plays push or fold for stacks <12bb.

Other preflop range considerations:

 

• No preflop limps from any position (excluding SB)

• Mixed all in and minraise opens <17bb

• Raise only preflop for stacks 17bb+
